Sitter in Houston

I moved here about a year ago and tbh the only thing that felt familiar at first was a neighbor’s cat who kept showing up on my porch. now i help people with theirs too. not for money, just cause it makes the day better. and yeah sometimes i meow back.

i’ve taken care of kittens that couldn’t walk yet and seniors that only got up for tuna. i’ve done meds, cleaning, playtime, even calming down cats during fireworks. i try to learn what they need instead of guessing. no two cats are the same. that’s why i like them.

because i like feeling invisible in a way that matters. i don’t need to be the center. i just like being the reason a pet doesn’t feel alone when their person’s away.
